| Around Bagan and Nyaung U are many interesting towns and villages. Southeast of Bagan lies Mt. Popa. South of Bagan are Chauk and Salay. On the other side of the Ayeyarwady River you find the mountain range Tangyi Taung to the west and the small villages Ashe Seh Lan and Myitche to the north. The bigger town Pakokku is in the northeast. |
